This workshop will help you learn ways to sustain yourself as a leader and encouraging others to do the same.” “Latinos is America: Celebrating History, Heritage and American Dream”-We will recognize the contributions of Latinos in the United States and talk about the influence the Hispanic heritage and culture have had since the beginning of times. Then, we will take a closer look at a story of a Mexican immigrant and his journey into the United States. Then, we will discuss the result of his attempt to achieve the American Dream two generations later through his grandchildren. During this interactive workshop, participants will walk away knowing the importance and influence of the Latino population in this country.
